Ownership Responsibilities

Sharing our time on earth with a beloved dog is one of life's great wonders. Since the days we lived in caves, no two species in all of time have bonded like humans and canines. We have evolved together, and helped each other thrive.

Today, though our need for survival interdependence has dwindled, our need for mutual love has grown. The joy of watching your pup bounding along beside you, playing with other dogs, waking you up in the morning with a woof or a smooch, or just spending quiet time together is a special experience.

Our dogs give us lots of pleasure and companionship, and we provide many necessities for them. Food, shelter, friendship and a good chew toy are just some of the many things we give back. We want to provide our dogs with a good life. We want our dogs to be as happy as they make us.

We know what to provide in terms of physical needs, but how many of us know about the equally important needs of behavioral training. Breed selection, socialization, house training, preventing aggression and obedience training do not come naturally to all of us. Our dogs require this guidance as much as our love. With knowledge of these applied canine techniques, we can raise our dogs in a nurturing and positive environment and insure our continued communication and harmony.
